2021 REX FOUNDATION GRANTEE

The Budding Artist Foundation was founded by Carla Hatley and William Hall to provided scholarships to young people (6-18) who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to participate in arts programs due to financial constraints. We believe summer programs are a time for young artists to realize their talents, share their voice and connect with others in the artistic community. As they grow their skills, they provide their communities with joy and inspiration; contributing to the world in ways only artists can. The Foundation was established in honor of Carl “Bud” Hatley and Robert “Bud” Hall, in recognition of their work with youth and their strong belief in the arts as an integral part of preparing for a productive and creative life.
